Forgiveness, again and again...
Encounters: "FORGIVENESS IS THE KEY TO HAPPINESS"
(A COURSE IN MIRACLES - Lesson 121 -p214)
"A judge gives forgiveness by freeing people; a mother forgives the villain who slew her teen-aged daughter; a father's first words when learning of his baby's murder was that he forgave the perpetrator; and on and on it goes."
Forgiveness is my only function, and it all comes back to me as forgiveness for my self for all of my imperfections. My only goal is the peace of God - a peace that passes all understanding. Forgiveness is the way to peace.

I have recently come to know the power that forgiveness offers. I have been going through a tough divorce that hasn't progressed, despite thousands of dollars in legal bills. A few months ago, I had the opportunity to spend some time doing a course called "Avatar". My Avatar Master recommended that I spend some time on the Forgivemess exercises, which I did. What I realized is that by forgiving, the grudge that I held melted away, and I developed compassion, not just for my wife, but for all of humanity. It was so totally empowering, that I spent the next several hours buzzing with delight. I was able to look into people's eyes for the first time in years. (Actually, I was compelled to look into them, I couldn't stop!)
Forgiveness is empowering. It allows you re-assume the power over your own feelings and happiness.
